Lessee Minimum Responsibilities

This Safety and Liability Terms and Conditions agreement operates in conjunction with the Rental Agreement between the Lessor and the Lessee. The product or products listed above will be referenced in this document as “Inflatable Amusement Devices.”

The safety of every patron using the Inflatable Amusement Devices is the responsibility of the Lessee. The Lessee must ensure there is adult supervision, referred to as an “Attendant,” at all times.

Failure to properly supervise patrons may result in injury. The Lessee has control of the Inflatable Amusement Devices from delivery until pickup and must ensure their safe operation during the rental period.

The Lessor delivers and picks up the equipment but does not provide supervision or employees during the rental period. The Lessee agrees to be solely responsible for safe operation and agrees to indemnify the Lessor against any claims, lawsuits, injuries, damages, or accidents arising from use of the Inflatable Amusement Devices by the Lessee or guests.

Attendant(s) Minimum Responsibilities

  • Do not allow anyone inside the Inflatable Amusement Device unless it is anchored at all anchor points.
  • If sustained winds reach 15 miles per hour, evacuate all patrons immediately and turn off the blowers once everyone is safely out.
  • Use a whistle or audio device to get attention and act at the first sign of any rule infraction.
  • Always supervise the inflatable while it is inflated unless it is secured from unauthorized access.
  • Stay calm during emergencies such as power loss. Emptying the ride is the first priority, then address the issue.
  • Guide patrons calmly out of the inflatable. On units with sealed roofs, use the emergency exit if necessary.

Denying Entry

The Attendant may deny entry to any person if, in the Attendant’s opinion, entry may cause above-normal risk of discomfort or injury to that person, or if entry may jeopardize the safety of other patrons or employees.

Communicating to Patron Parents and Chaperones

  • It is the attendant’s responsibility to communicate that there are inherent risks in participating in inflatable activities.
  • Attendants, patrons, parents, and chaperones must all be aware of the risks involved.
  • Before allowing a minor to enter, all operating and safety instructions must be read and understood.
  • By allowing a minor to participate, you accept all risks associated with participation.
  • You must exercise good judgment and act responsibly while minors are playing in or around the inflatable.
  • You must prohibit anyone with pre-existing medical conditions from participating, including circulatory, heart, lung, neck, back, spine, musculoskeletal, or head injury conditions.
  • You must assess whether the inflatable activity is suitable for each child, including emotional readiness and willingness to follow rules.
  • You must remove participants engaging in aggressive physical contact.
  • Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited from supervising participants or entering the inflatable.

Patron Preparation

  • All patrons must meet the height, weight, and age guidelines for the inflatable.
  • Group participants by size to avoid injury and do not exceed maximum capacity.
  • Patrons must follow all attire and safety rules, including removing shoes and sharp objects.
  • Explain proper use of the device before participation.
  • Ensure all users remove footwear except socks, along with hard, sharp, or dangerous objects.
  • Food, drinks, and gum are not allowed in the inflatable.

Patron Supervision

  • Attendants must remain in position to observe patrons and enforce safety rules.
  • Keep entrances and exits clear and supervise each patron entering and exiting.
  • Actively monitor play and remove anyone not following safety rules.
  • No one may bounce on the entry step or ramp.
  • Patrons may not climb or hang from exterior walls, mesh, covers, or non-play areas.
  • No flipping, diving, or aggressive physical contact is allowed.
Slide Rules:

  • Patrons must slide feet first only.
  • Only one person may slide at a time.
  • Parents/chaperones may not slide with a child between their legs.
  • Arms must not be extended to the sides while sliding.
  • Socks must be worn; shoes and bare feet are not allowed.
  • No jumping or diving from any slide platform.
  • Only one person may climb at a time.
  • The landing area must be clear before the next person slides.

Monitor the Device

  • Keep the entrance, exit, blower area, and perimeter clear of onlookers.
  • If outdoors, monitor weather and wind conditions.
  • Observe device inflation continuously.
  • Keep the public at least 5 feet from doors, blowers, cords, and power supplies.
  • Regularly check anchoring to ensure it remains secure.
  • If someone bleeds, vomits, or releases bodily fluids, immediately evacuate all patrons and clean the unit with a non-corrosive antibacterial solution before reuse.

Lessee Acknowledgment

  • The Lessee acknowledges understanding the safe operation of the Inflatable Amusement Device and agrees to be accountable for Attendant actions or inaction.
  • The Lessee agrees the device will not be moved from the setup location.
  • The Lessee agrees to return the device in the same condition received and pay repair costs for damages caused by failure to follow rules.
  • If the device is not ready for pickup at the agreed time, a fee of $______ per hour plus a transportation fee of $______ will apply.
  • No alterations or attachments may be made to the device without prior written approval from the Lessor.
  • The Lessor warrants the device will be in good working order on the rental date. The Lessor’s responsibility is limited to repair or replacement of the device.

Release of Liability

The Lessee is responsible for operation and return of the Inflatable Amusement Device in good condition. The Lessor and its officers, employees, and agents are not responsible for injuries to the Lessee or any other person using the device.

The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, costs, attorney’s fees, and related legal expenses arising from use or return of the device.

Title to the Inflatable Amusement Device remains with the Lessor. The Lessee agrees not to sublease, rent, sell, move from the delivery address, or otherwise transfer the device. If the device is not returned, the Lessee agrees to pay $____________.

Keep Away From Inflatables

  1. Silly String: Do not spray silly string inside or on the inflatable. It may discolor the material and is impossible to repair. If found, you will be charged the full replacement value of $______.
  2. Sharp Objects: Ensure there are no sharp or breakable objects in or around the inflatable. If punctured, a minimum repair fee of $______ will apply.
  3. Water: If you rented a dry unit, water may not be used with the inflatable. A minimum cleaning and drying fee of $______ will apply.

Rain Policy

During periods of severe weather, including rain and high winds, we reserve the right to cancel reservations prior to delivery. If conditions are not too severe, you may choose to keep the inflatable or cancel your order. If you choose not to cancel and bad weather occurs, there will be no refund.
By signing this contract, I accept the Rental Agreement / Safety and Liability Terms and Conditions.
